After defeating leukemia for the second straight time, Jarrod Lyle is set to make his return to professional golf in November at the Australian Masters.

Golf.com with the exciting news.
Cancer survivor Jarrod Lyle will make his professional golf comeback at the Australian Masters in November ahead of a possible return to the PGA Tour.

The 31-year-old Australian, who was first diagnosed with leukemia at age 17, learned the disease had returned in March 2012, shortly after the birth of his first child.

After extensive treatment, including chemotherapy and a transplant of donor blood from umbilical cords, Lyle was told in June his body was clear of the disease.
The Aussie was rediagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a cancer he beat 13 years ago, in early 2012.

You might remember Jarrod as one of the lucky few who've aced the 16th hole, a.k.a. the Party Hole, at the Waste Management Phoenix Open (see the video above).
