A Golf-Themed 9/11 Tribute
By Torleif Sorenson on 9/11/13
Charlie Kautz is a TaylorMade employee who travels with the PGA Tour. He is also a self-professed photography aficiando and either took, or was otherwise sent, this remarkable photo of a very brave NYC-area construction specialist, Kevin Sabbagh, hitting a tee-shot from on top of the new 1 World Trade Center tower under construction in lower Manhattan.
On this important day of remembrance, our thanks go to both Charlie and Kevin for this photograph.

So who's paying for whatever that ball hits?
or kills! I doubt he actually hit it! Just posing I hope
I've seen that look before. He is not posing. He is aiming to crush it.
Great patriotic tribute to The United States of America, our heroes of 9-11, and golfers of America that LOVE this country!
Yeah at first I thought this was a pose as well. But given his size I really doubt he can hold a pose that wound up. This is an action shot.
Looks suspiciously like a TM club too. Grrr they are the most annoying OEM out there. Why do they always have to be so in your face.
nope nope nope nope nope nope nope. hell no! no way I would that all the way up there! I have a hard enough time keeping my balance at sea level...
The old guys did't need no stinkin safety harness.

While you're hiding in your dusty hovels, trying to figure out your next big terrorist move, we're building stuff, playing golf, and taking pictures.
