When It Rains, It Pours

The 2013 Evian Championship, designated the fifth major on this year's LPGA Tour, has encountered major weather delays. On Thursday, four inches of rain washed out the course — and the first round of play. After finally getting the tournament started this morning, Mika Miyazato has the solo lead at -6.
Designating the Evian as a fifth major has caused the LPGA some controversy regarding the record books and the significance of their major championships. But how troubling and embarrassing are the rain delays at the LPGA's Evian Championship?
So bad that the LPGA and tournament organizers have essentially placed an embargo on pictures of the flooded Evian Resort course on their official sites. Only a handful of people have taken images of the water-logged Evian course, including Richard Heathcote of Getty Images (who want WAY too much money for us to re-post them here) and LPGA star Jessica Korda, whose image of the green at #2 appears here.
The LPGA's 2013 season has been full of more ups-and-downs than most profeesional golf circuits see in five years. Back in May, the inaugural Bahamas LPGA Classic was forced to go to a 54-hole, no-cut event played over an improvised 12-hole layout, because rain washed out the other six holes on the course.
The LPGA announced just this afternoon that the tournament is being cut to 54 holes, with a 36-hole cut to follow Saturday's round. Météo-France, the French national meteorological service, is predicting rain for most of Sunday, with Monday's forecast only marginally better.

I'm not sure, but I think there is a punctuation issue in the following paragraph:

But look at all the water Evian is receiving to make new bottles of water.

Mike, I've been having all sorts of problems with my computer today - now it turns out that some of my writing corrections weren't even saving correctly. Thanks (sort of) for noticing. (grrrrr...)
Good News Torleif:
It just happens to be Blame Someone Else Day ;)
something I'm really good at.
@dottomm- LOL! :)

Rain is embarrassing to the LPGA? Pretty thin-skinned, aren't they?
