How impressive was Kevin Streelman on Sunday?
  1. Nobody else on the PGA Tour has ever recorded seven consecutive birdies to win a tournament. Mike Souchak set the old record of six in a row at the 1956 Saint Paul Open. Russell Henley, Jack Nicklaus, and Tom Weiskopf birdied the final five holes to win events, however.

  2. His 28 on the closing nine tied the record for holes 10-18 at TPC River Highlands. Only Charley Hoffman and Vijay Singh have played those holes as well.

  3. Streelman had ten consecutive one-putts.

And now, following a Monday finish, Kevin Streelman has won the Travelers Championship (f.k.a. the Greater Hartford Open & the Insurance City Open).

Meanwhile, Chesson Hadley, who won the opposite-field Puerto Rico Open in March, turned in one of the best shots of the year on the PGA Tour:
