Update on Arnold Palmer

Nine days ago, Arnold Palmer underwent surgery to have a heart pacemaker implanted, to control an abnormal heart rhythm. On Tuesday, Palmer gave ESPN a telephone interview — and thankfully, the news is good on both the medical front and on his return to the golf course:
"I'm back and feeling fine.

Twelve days. My back has been bothering me some, but this has more to do with the swing and the fact that the pacemaker is in my shoulder. They don't want me to disrupt the wiring that is in there. So, I'll wait for the doctors to say it's OK."
Mr. Palmer turns 85 years old on September 10. We're sure that the party will be a big one.
