Adam Scott chooses a caddie
By Torleif Sorenson on 12/23/14

Last last month, we told you about Adam Scott's search for a new full-time caddie, made necessary by the retirement of Steve Williams.

After an apparently successful audition at the Australian Open and the Australian PGA Championship, Scott has offered the job to Zimbabwe native Mike Kerr, who accepted.

Kerr has been a mainstay on the European Tour, having caddied most recently for 25-year-old Danish golfer Thorbjørn Olesen.

Williams, of course, looped for Scott when he won the 2013 Masters Tournament, as well as for Tiger Woods during his heyday on the PGA Tour.

Boy, do times change.

Why would anyone retire from a job like that?
Torleif Sorenson says:
Evidently, he wants to have fun at faster speeds on the race tracks of New Zealand. And having spent most of my life in front of a computer keyboard, I guess I can identify with Williams. I love my job, but I'd rather spend more time on the golf course - and some of my spare time strapped into a 172 or an SR20.

... or a 152 Aerobat. :D
