Payne Stewart's Winning Putt
By Kickntrue on 6/17/09
10 years ago this wekeend, Payne Stewart won the US Open at Pinehurst #2. Using a SeeMore Putter (basically the same model Zach Johnson uses), Payne hit the longest winning putt in US Open history and had an amazing overall round with the flat stick- needing only 24 putts on his way to victory.

Much can be said, and should about Stewart. Nothing though, can drum up the emotion of letting the highlights do the talking.

Early in his life and career, Payne Stewart was a real jerk. Very selfish. He soon realized that he was not in control and allowed God to take control and Payne became the person that he was!!! It was great to see the transformation. I know Payne is sitting at the feet of Jesus right now, watching the guys at Bethpage!!!
