Introducing The Golf Girls!
By mustang6560 on 6/28/11
It only took TWO WEEKS (I mean come on, there were spoofs of Rebecca Black's "Friday" within 24 hours of its release) but we finally have our first spoof of The Golf Boys song "Oh Oh Oh".

A few of the lovely ladies on the Ladies European Tour decided they couldn't let Ben Crane, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan have all of the fun so they released their own version of the song The Golf Boys made famous called "Ah Ah Ah". The Golf Girls are Sophie Giquel, Sophie Sandolo, Jade Schaeffer and Cassandra Kirkland.

I must say, props to Sophie, Sophie, Jade and Cassandra for seizing the moment and releasing the first spoof of "Oh Oh Oh" and making a name for themselves. I now officially know four players on the Ladies European Tour. Plus, Cassandra looks much better in leopard print spandex pants AND Jade pulls off the overalls much better than Bubba Watson.

They say mimicry is the highest form of flattery so you know Ben Crane and co. have to be feeling pretty good right now. If Ben Crane wants to raise the bar for his next video, he should ask The Golf Girls to be in his next video. Now that could be an awesome collaboration!

So bad, yet so good. My real question... where do these people find these red spandex suits?! The other clothing options I believe you can find, but I've NEVER in my life seen anything like the red outfits featured in these videos (and in earlier vids by Crane).

Regarding the neoprene suits. I had some friends had a 4 y/o kid whom they strapped into one at the first sign of summer and let him loose (occasionally with a helmet too, looked exactly like Crane) to wreak havoc. Hosed him down at the end of the day and repeated the next day. He was practically impermeable.

I wasn't made for these times.

Fail. The great thing about the original is it is so intentionally bad, that it's good. This one fails to be bad enough to be good, but definitely isn't anywhere near good enough to be good either. I stopped it after about 40 seconds.

I think they did a pretty good job of EXACTLY copying the "Golf Boys" video. I haven't studied either (viewing them once is more than enough) but they seem identical (identically bad?).
