What the 2015 U.S. Open Coverage Might Look Like
By mustang6560 on 8/20/13
As you know, the USGA recently inked a 12-year, $1.2 billion deal with FOX to air the U.S. Open starting in 2015.
The second major championship of the calendar year, along with other USGA events, will air on FOX Sports 1, the company's new "sports-oriented" channel.
If you want to get a glimpse into the future to see what the U.S. Open coverage will look like on FOX, here is a "best of" highlight video from the first night of Fox Sports 1. It's a little rusty but I welcome an alternative to ESPN with open arms!

is this real? it cant be real...
These guys are fantastic. When I watch sports highlights I don't just want play by play, I want to be entertained. Jay and Dan deliver. Might be a Canadian humour thing though.
Works for me.
Those guys were absolutely funny on TSN in Canada.
joe jones says:
Will they have Mike Tyson on. Everyone knows that he is an expert on golf and has a wonderful sense of humor.
Will Gus Johnson anchor the coverage?
This is an interesting marriage. I find it very difficult to believe the blue blazers will want it played anything but straight, regardless of their stated goals about this helping to grow the game (how on Earth it can do that is beyond me).
this was the highlight reel???????
Dear God, I was terrified of the idea of having to listen to Joe Buck for 6 hours, but this would be far, far, worse. I didn't even think that was possible.
You know who would be great to do the US Open alongside Joe Buck? Randy Moss. #sarcasm.
Things funner than these guys:
School Bus accidents
A gut full of pinworms.
I can't tell if this is a joke or not.
