Bleacher Report via Next Impulse Sports posted a really cool video of what a golf ball looks like when it's hit by a steel plate at 150mph. The video, which is slowed to 70,000 frames per second, shows how elastic a golf ball is at impact.

Pretty sure that one's fake. I know they compress, but not THAT much. Wouldn't the cover break at some point?

I agree with Jattruia and birdieXris - that clip is doubtful.
Years ago someone rigged a strobe light to photograph a golf ball the instant the clubhead struck it. It only flattened a small amount on the clubface. Nothing like this. I only wish I could hit a ball that hard.
