Some golf enthusiasts in Michigan with a large amount of time on their hands decided to invent "Wild Golf." In fact, they had so much time on their hands that they decided to make an epic, 16-minute video about their idea, complete with a David Spade-lookalike, bullet-proof vests and helmets, scorers in referee shirts, a faux-dramatic soundtrack, and a specially-manufactured trophy at the end.
And while the video is interesting at certain times, it is slower than a water buffalo trying to walk up Pikes Peak.
Nevertheless, we at oobgolf duly submit this for your approval — or disapproval, as it may turn out. Have at it, oobers!

Kids, this is what happens when you have a long golf off season and too much beer.
Based on the awesome reviews I'm going to do something else with my 16 minutes.
Brian, in that video I see green flora, and people hanging around in shorts and t-shirts. I.e. that ain't no offseason. So sorry, that excuse will not cut it. PS I tuned out after glimpsing the bored mutt at 03:43.
Didn't bother to watch, probably was a good decision.
