Dustin Johnson's Wayward Accuracy
By Torleif Sorenson on 6/13/14
But Dustin Johnson is quite good at picking the occasional wrong spot. On Thursday, Johnson's tee-shot at the par-3 6th hole actually conked off an NBC microphone and took a horrible carom against the spectator stands to the right of the green:
To his credit, that was an outstanding recovery shot.
Jay Busbee of Yahoo! Sports also dug up the clip of DJ blocking a tee-shot so far to the right that he actually struck a television camera crane on Saturday at the 2012 WGC-Cadillac Championship:
We're guessing that DJ's favorite number is... FORE!!!

What was the mic doing there anyway?
That was an awesome scramble!
the ball ricocheted off the mic and then landed in a spool of wire near the bleachers. how did he get to the top of the bunker (for his 2nd, or was that his 3rd)
agreed - from there, great recovery.
He got relief from the grand stand. If you look closely you'll notice his ball is in the relief circle.
There were two rules officials that came over and assisted. Like Golfsmith7 said. There were several drop sites around greens with bleachers and the brick path behind 18
He made a mikie! :)
