By Kickntrue on 4/14/11
Okay oobers. You've said for 3 years now that awesome the Golf.com World Amateur Handicap Championship in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina sounds, and now it's time to act! The World Am will be held this year from August 29th - September 2nd.
Hosted in Myrtle Beach, SC, the World Am, as it is commonly known, is the largest amateur golf event on the globe; attracting over 3,000 golfers of all skill levels from all 50 states and 25 international countries. We've been promoting the event now for 3 years- though last year was the first time we were able to attend ourselves. I can honestly say it was the most fun I've ever had golfing. The competition, the camaraderie, the courses and of course the nightly open bar all contribute to an amazing experience.
Last year we had the pleasure of having dinner with a couple oobers in attendance and we'd love the chance to meet even more of you!
To learn more about the "oob" experience check out these links.

now i just need to get my hands on a piece of oobgear...do you guys have a patch or something i can put on a visor?...i'd wear a normal hat, but sadly i was bestowed with a gargantuan head...
Me and my brother are going back to NZ for a month leaving on the 4th.
The wives aren't happy about that, needless to say, a weeks golf before that, might not fly well... but I know where I'm going next September :)
