Your missing out on some cool charts...
Lee Cringle a.k.a. cheapgolf
Our GoW Lee Cingle was hooked on the game of golf from one of life's simple truths; never let your younger brother beat you at anything. Based on Lee's answers it seems like he's working on that- especially off the tee where he hits bombs.
How old are you and what's your occupation?
30, university administrator
When did you start playing golf and what's your handicap?
Six years ago, don't have an official handicap yet, but usually shoot mid-90's.
How often do you play?
Try to play once a week, tiger08 on the wii multiple times a week ;)
Tell me about a great shot you've made.
Longest drive: 355 yrds. Best part: my buddy hit a great one, too - 350, so I still beat him by 5! two holes later, I drove to 15 yrds of the green, right between a pond and sand trap.
What is your best golf memory?
Playing in Hilton Head when I was no good with my dad and bro. My younger bro beat me that day, so that's what got me hooked on the game.
What is your "home" course?
Furman University Course in Greenville, SC.
What ball do you play?
Nike, Wilson, Titlest
Knight irons, Walter Hagan driver, Taylor Made putter. Still can crank my 6i 180-190 even with the cheap clubs ;)
Gotta say Tiger. He's just incredible.
Favorite course you've played?
A great course in northeast Indiana, around Shipshewana. Don't remember the name, but played it several times when on vacation.
Dream course you've yet to play?
Best round ever- and what course?
87, Patriots Point, Charleston
What is one aspect of your golf game you would like to improve on in the next year?
Tell me a story.
Best par 5: Hit a four iron down the left side to lay up on a dog-leg left, down hill hole. Ball hit cart path. Stopped 365 yards later. 6i from 170 (this was several years ago), on in two, 20 ft. from pin. Only chance for eagle to date . . . missed by inches, tapped for birdie.
