Brian has "The Look" down.
Your missing out on some cool charts...
Brian Cox a.k.a. Night Foxx
Not everyone who uses golf is able to play weekly. Sometimes life only allows for bi-monthly trips to the course but that doesn't stop our GOW Brian from loving the game. Now we all need to add him as an oobgolf friend and encourage him to get a couple more rounds in!
How old are you and what's your occupation?
32 / Case Manager
When did you start playing golf and what's your handicap?
Not seriously until about 2 yrs ago / 24 handicap
How often do you play?
About once every 30-45 days if I'm lucky.
Tell me about a great shot you've made.
We were on the 18th hole (short par 4 dog leg right) and decided to play it with the group ahead of us which included two of my uncles and a longtime family friend. I was last to hit and my cousin makes a remark about me not getting past the women's tees right as I'm starting my upswing. I didn't stop and crushed the ball over the trees but could not see exactly where it landed. So we go out to the fairway for our 2nd shot and everyone found their ball, but me. I kept looking and was about to give up when someone asked what that white dot by the green was a ball, trash maybe? I went over and it was my ball. A perfect draw within 30 yards of the green and outdrove everyone else by 50 yards.
What is your best golf memory?
Playing a par 3 with my 5 yr old son last year... he was so excited to play on a real course... which lasted about 10 minutes before he was ready to go home. On one hole, he picked up my ball from the green & brought over to me as I was walking up... he thought he was doing me a favor. Still makes me laugh to this day.
What is your "home" course?
Cedar Crest in Dallas. It's old & not in a good part of town, but still a nice course.
What ball do you play?
Nike SF 2 Distance
Nike Sasquatch Driver/Woods & Nike NDS Irons
Tiger sounds like a cop out, but you can't help but to watch when he's playing.
Favorite course you've played?
Bear Creek - Dallas
Dream course you've yet to play?
Pebble Beach no question.. Augusta is probably a better course overall by most standards, but you can't beat the scenery at Pebble Beach.
Best round ever- and what course?
94 - Prairie Lakes, Grand Prairie, TX
What is one aspect of your golf game you would like to improve on in the next year?
consistency off the tee.. some days I kill the ball like I've been playing years.. other days it looks like my 1st swing ever. Unfortunately not playing much makes it easy to slip into old habits. I think I've finally tuned by swing now, so I'm anxious to see how it holds up over 18 holes.
Tell me a story.
I'm a 24 handicap, so to say I have room to improve is putting it lightly. To add insult to injury, my father likes to make me tee of 1st anytime we start a round.. In particular if there are other groups watching. So about a year ago, like clockwork, he suggests I go 1st. Reluctantly I tee the ball up as a foursome behind us watches impatiently. I swing & hit a screaming shank to 3 o'clock knocking off the hubcap on the golf cart next to the tee box. Yes, you might say I got a hold of that one.

heh The groups watching when you hit that golf cart must have gotten a good laugh. ;) You should suggest to your dad you decide the 1st tee teeing off order by flipping a tee. Whoever the tee points at goes first, and you keep flipping till the whole groups order is decided.
I tell my buddy to lead off on the first tee. "Because it's the last time you'll get to hit first"
Night Foxx says:
funny you say that merlin.. I'm pretty sure that plays a role in them 'allowing' me to hit 1st. I actually don't mind... I've made a fool of myself so many times I'm used to it now.
