Your missing out on some cool charts...
Bob Ricker a.k.a. rricker81
How old are you and what's your occupation?
I'm 28 and General Manager at a 12 screen cineplex in State College, Pennylvania.
When did you start playing golf and what's your handicap?
I began golfing around 14 in high school and am currently a 6 handicap.
How often do you play?
As much as possible... usually between 3 to 4 times per week.
Tell me about a great shot you've made.
My only eagle to date... playing a course I've never played before, on the first hole of a tournament no less. I hit my drive up the middle and decided to take a 5 wood over the trees, cutting the dogleg, toward the green, a blind shot. Not knowing really where the green was, I was just hoping to avoid a trap and chip up for a birdie putt. As luck would have it as I turned the corner I saw my ball about five feet below the hole. Eagle!
What is your best golf memory?
Getting better than my father and kicking him around the golf course ever since.
What is your "home" course?
Belles Springs Golf Course in Mackeyville, PA.
What ball do you play?
Callaway HX Hot
Callaway through most of the bag. Hyper X Driver, Big Bertha Fairway Woods, X 18 Irons, Odyssey 2 Ball putter. I do carry an Adams Hybrid and Ping Wedges, respectively.
Greg Norman, the swing is unmistakable. Violent, yet poetic. Slapping the club off his back on every drive. Awesome.
Favorite course you've played?
River's Edge, in Shallotte, NC. An Arnold Palmer design that I just fell in love with.
Dream course you've yet to play?
Best round ever- and what course?
76 - Charleston National Golf Course, Charleston, SC.
What is one aspect of your golf game you would like to improve on in the next year?
Putting, I can't get set on one grip or routine. What works one week seems to fail me the next. I am always tinkering and I think it is to my detriment.
Tell me a story.
I will be attending the Professional Golfer's Career College in Hilton Head, SC starting this fall. I can't wait. I will get to play seven of the area's most prestigious courses regularly. Classes till noon, golf till dusk... sounds like heaven to this oobgolfer!

Down to a 4.8 hdcp after a 74 and 76 this month. Hope to play much more the second half of this month.
I have played rivers edge prior to my joining OOB, great course as well. If you are back in the area and need a golf partner let me know. I know lots of great little courses to play, and can get you on base if you want to see how us military folks live on a course. As far as the putting, find something you like and stick with it, that killed me in the past. Let the game come to you, dont chase it, you will never catch it. hit 'em straight. Mike
Thanks Mike. Solid advice there. Will give you a shout if I am ever back in the area.
