Your missing out on some cool charts...
Bruce Smith a.k.a. golfclutz
He is not a groundskeeper, nor is he a clutz. He is actually a CEO!

How old are you and what's your occupation?
In golf years I'm 3 years old. In chronological years I'm 49. I am President/CEO of a nonprofit organization that serves minority language communities worldwide in order to give every person access to the Bible in their own language.

When did you start playing golf and what's your handicap?
I started playing one round per year with my father-in-law sometime in the '90s and graduated to summer-season golf in 2003 when I moved into Disney's backyard here in Orlando. My golf handicaps are many. oobgolf quantifies them currently at 31.

How often do you play?
From June through September I come close to averaging one round per week. That brings the cost per round down to around $10, including golf balls. Between October and May I'll play three more rounds. The cost per round is higher, but the cost per stroke is still reasonable.

What is your best golf memory?
I negotiated free rounds of golf for seven family members at Disney's Magnolia course (as in "Funai Classic") when they all came to Orlando for my daughter's wedding this June. Winning the "Billy Barule" gold-plated putter in our foursome's seasonal skins competition is a close second.

What is your "home" course?
I play whatever Disney course gets me the earliest tee time, but I like Osprey Ridge the best. All the Orlando Disney courses are gorgeous but unforgiving.

What ball do you play?
I still play "Recycled" as my ball of choice. Fresh from the water hazard courtesy of my ball retriever is good, but I frequently rely on Wal-MartGÇÖs bag of four-dozen to tide me over between fishing expeditions.

I'm a Bridges man.

Favorite pro?
I cheer for the Freds, Funk and Couples. They've got great names and seem to actually enjoy golfing.

Favorite course you've played?
Disney's Osprey Ridge in Orlando, FL. Even golf can't spoil a walk, or ride, through that park.

Dream course you've yet to play?
I seldom dream about golf courses, but having lived previously in central Georgia I would have to say Augusta National in the spring.

Best round ever- and what course?
Had to be one of my rounds with my father-in-law in his "no liars foursome" at Enterprise Country Club in Enterprise, AL. I call it the "no liars foursome" because we never keep score.

Thanks Bruce!
