Nothing like golf at daybreak!
Your missing out on some cool charts...
Benjamin Harris a.k.a. benjo
Benjamin Harris notched a par the first time he ever went golfing. Since then, he's been hooked. Don't we all know that feeling?!

How old are you and what's your occupation?
31, I'm a waiter at a fine dining restaurant, I'm looking to get a job at the Robert Trent Jones Jr. design opening locally in June.

When did you start playing golf and what's your handicap?
I started at 26, a bit of a late bloomer but I've known later bloomers than I. Right now my handicaps an 11 though its sometimes feels a lot higher.

How often do you play?
At least once a week, though I'm a newlywed so we'll see what the summer holds. As a bachelor I'd go some weeks with over a 100 holes played.

Tell me about a great shot you've made.
The most prolific one I've made was making a 2 on the opening par 4 of my home course, a 362 yard dogleg left, I drained a PW from 130 out in the rough.

What is your best golf memory?
My roomate's dad was in town around when I first started golfing, we were on the 15th hole and I finally got a par...I sang in my big Operatic voice, "I Got a Par!!!", it echoed throughout the wooded valley for a while...we always get a laugh out of that when the old man comes to town.

What is your "home" course?
Lake Spanaway Golf Course in Tacoma, Washington

What ball do you play?
Whatever comes out of my bag, I like the touch of the Bridgestone but the durability of a Titleist.

Clubs?
Cobra 460 9 degree Driver, Nicklaus Q series 3 wood, Titleist 762 DCI irons, Adams "trio" of wedges, La Jolla Putter I got from a pro shop special,

Favorite pro?
Tim Clark, because his game looks very accessible, like I might actually be able to do what he does.

Favorite course you've played?
Terra Lago in Indio, CA.

Dream course you've yet to play?
Pebble Beach

Best round ever- and what course?
76, twice at Lake Spanaway

What is one aspect of your golf game you would like to improve on in the next year?
Finding the fairway off the tee or at least having a decent look off the tee.

Tell me a story.
Whenever I play a course shortly after aerification occurs I always tell myself how Davis Love shot a course record at his home course under recent aerification conditions. My buddy and I played the back 9 first, the greenskeeper hadn't even swept the greens yet and we were putting through 1 1/2 inches of sand, needless to say I shot 53 on the back. Once we got to the front however, the greens were swept, though I wouldn't need my putter on the first hole I got my eagle 2 that I mentioned earlier, I went on to almost drain my 2nd shot on the long par 4 second and I thought "this is really weird"...needless to say I went on to shoot my first even par 9 holes and the most noteworthy 89 of my life.

Thanks!
