Nothing says "old pro" like a broken 5h.
Your missing out on some cool charts...
Peter Pasho a.k.a. peterap2001
Our Golfer of the Week is new to the game- but quickly improving. His last time out he shot a 99 which was his best score ever. Plus he breaks clubs- so ... he's already learning the finer points of the game.

How old are you and what's your occupation?
28. I work as a Trader for a Brokerage Firm.

When did you start playing golf and what's your handicap?
May or June of this year and by oob it's a 30.4.

How often do you play?
Every other week on average with driving range in between once or twice.

Tell me about a great shot you've made.
I'll let you know when it happens. Actually, out at Coyote Creek in CA I was golfing with a bunch of former pros and their friends before a wedding and I actually hit about 180yds from the rough and through the trees to stick it on the green closer than any of them. It was apparently the toughest hole on the course and I whiffed a par putt for what would have been my first ever par. Didn't exactly help too much though--I finished about 40 strokes behind the pack.

What is your best golf memory?
All of it right now. Just getting outside and whacking a ball around is a blast. I'm also at a point where I'm still improving pretty quickly, so it's a lot of fun.

What is your "home" course?
None yet.

What ball do you play?
Start with whatever is in my bag, and finish with whatever I was able to find in the woods on the course.

Clubs?
Some Golden Bear clubs I was given a couple of years ago.

Favorite pro?
Charley Hoffman. He's a blast to watch.

Favorite course you've played?
Coyote Creek Club out by San Jose. Gorgeous.

Dream course you've yet to play?
I don't even know what's out there yet.

Best round ever- and what course?
99. Trotters Glen. Olney, MD

What is one aspect of your golf game you would like to improve on in the next year?
Being able to hit the friggin ball off the tee box without embarrassing myself.

Tell me a story.
My last time out I hit a pretty solid drive that sliced next to another tee box. I was in a little rough and took out a hybrid 5 iron. Took a couple practice swings and everything was normal, including the part about hitting from the rough. Ah, but then I actually swung at the ball and the ball went about five yards and my club head was hurdling through the air and manage to go about a hundred yards. Now that's just plain fun. Hitting balls, breaking clubs... It's hard not to get excited about this game.

Thanks!
