Indian Wells Country Club is proud to offer 36 championship holes of golf on two beautiful courses, the Classic Course and the Cove Course.

The Classic Course is the original course that founders Desi Arnaz, Paul Prom, Eddie Susalla, Linn Johnson, Earl Murphy, Milt Hicks, Bill Worthing and John Curci set out to build in 1956. In fact, founder Eddie Susalla actually designed the 6,478-yard, par 72, 18-hole course that boasts a 127-slope rating.

Stretching 6,558 yards with a slope of 121 the par 72, 18-hole Cove Course was designed by Indian Wells Country Club founder, Eddie Sussalla and Ted Robinson, Sr. The Cove Course was built several years after the Classic Course, yet provides golfers with challenging shots and unique holes.

I have only played the Classic Course at Indian Wells. Have not played the Cove, but will be in a few days. At the Indian Wells club you can almost hear the echoes of Bob Hope in the locker room....what a grand place and what a great tribute they pay to the man who helped put Palm Springs on the map...the course plays well and on a few holes plays right against the mountain...a vertical wall for slicers to bounce off. Some of the par fours are rally way too long but I guess in that heat of the summer golfers can hit it further... The personal there at the club is wonderful and it has a cordial membership who helps out guests. I recommend playing this Classic Course. The Closing hole is almost haunting to know that Bob Hope use to sit on the edge of the green and greet guests and members in his hey day there at the club....great memories for his fans.
