This old-school Tom Bendelow design opened in 1923 and is especially attractive for beginners, juniors, and higher-handicap players. The course plays from 4,446 to 5,071 yards. Tee times are suggested, but walk-ons are always welcome.

Great short course with some scenic holes.

A sporty little course that is in decent shape. If you can par all the par 3 holes you are a player.

Simple, unpretentious, and cheap. Conveniently located. Easy to walk on. I like it so much it's the only place I play, except for Radrick Farms. Despite what it says above, there is a nine hole rate, it's $14 to walk on weekends.

Umm... somemone failed to mention it was a dry course. Although the course it self was very nice. and close. they should still run a cart "person" with snacks and drinks
