This very popular resort is located outside San Diego and features two courses. The Champions course was a Dick Wilson design that was renovated and restored in 2011 by the architecture team of Damian Pascuzzo and Steve Pate, with Texas-based architect Jeffrey Brauer consulting.
The South Course will be renovated in 2013 by the same architecture team, but will play a little more friendly for higher-handicap players, while retaining Wilson's original routing, bunkering, and strategic lines of play.

As women can be judged by their replica handbags, so men can be judged by their watches. In this anything-but-ordinary election cycle, we look back at the timepiece styles of U.S.
presidents to see what's changed and how our country's leaders' personal styles stack up. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson (favored fine French timepieces), and Abraham Lincoln (a big customer of Tiffany and a lover of engraving) all carried pocket watches, of course, as that was the fashion. Since 1789, every American leader has carried or worn replica watches sale of some kind.

Overpriced Course. Greens were good but fairways were not so well maintained.... Much better to play at Carlsbad or Aviara instead

Interesting layout, but ever-present homes adjacent to the course kill the overall ambiance - not a $150+ experience. The course was in pretty good shape, and the greens were near perfect. Played the Legends and it was difficult without a course map, wind affect some of the landing points. I understand from the Pro, the Champions is a little tougher.

Completely overpriced at 175, and almost as bad as the twlight rate at 140. If you pay anything over 100 bucks it's dissappointing. Course was extremely tough, which is to be expected but lacked anything substantial. Staff, Clubhouse, and La Costa as a whole is very beautiful, however, the courses were overpriced and very displeased.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing at La Costa the other week. The course is preparing to host the LPGA there later this month. They most likely will blend the North and South courses into one, just as they did for the men. I could certainly notice a difference between the holes they planed to use and which ones they didn't. The courses themselves overall weren't in QUITE as good as shape as Aviara around the corner, but it was still excellent. The round was slow as paint. However, I was able to find a last minute deal on our tee time online for only $60. Overall it was a great experience and I will be back (just not at full prices).

I'm looking forward to playing La Costa North Course this Friday. I will be scoring live on oobgolf.com and hopefully shooting lower than the other Go Golf San Diego oobgolf.com group members.

Great course they used to play Match Play Championship on. I played the South Course. Pace of play was good but I could see it being slow at certain times of year. Not sure it's quite worth the price of admission- but it's a real nice course.
