Blends beautifully with the inherent natural landscape. Most holes are wrapped in native grasses, including wildflower areas, while many others are surrounded by tree-lined fairways, wetland areas and several large ponds. Hole features include generous fairways, large greens, and four sets of tees to accommodate all levels of play.

You begin your round with a links-style front nine featuring rolling terrain, fescue grasses and wide fairways. As you make the turn, the back nine - characterized by its "up-north" feel - surrounds you with tree-lined fairways, wetlands, wildflower areas, and wildlife. Each hole features four sets of tee boxes to accommodate all levels of play. The Championship Tees present a challenge to even the low-handicapper.

A nice course, well maintained, beautiful scenery and friendly folks. The length of the par-3s are well distributed to test different clubs, a variety of par-4s with easy #3, #4, #6, difficult #7, #15, strategical #5, #12, #14, and long #10 and #16. The par-5s feature welcoming tee shots and challenging approaches. The course often have prevailing westerly winds, and the gentle open slopes are amazingly beautiful if you are lucky for a golden sunset. The only drawback is that the course is too crowded during peak seasons (even for twilight tee times!) and it's common to waste one third of your time waiting if you are not a particularly slow golfer.

In late October, 2011, the course showed a lot of wear & tear.

A nice course with a good set of diverse holes. Some have a decidedly links flavor, some are very wooded, while others feel like you are playing through swampy wetlands (but in a good way!). It is not a particularly long course, but you will probably use every shot you have in the bag. There are good One negative to note: the pace of play is sometimes painfully slow, and I have been backed up behind 2-3 groups on tee boxes a few times. That said, the course provides a fun, fair test of golf that happens to be a pretty good bargain.
