Smokey Mt. is inexpensive, unique, and fun. Playing in the Mt.'s makes for an interesting challenge. Most of the holes rely solely on the elevation change from tee to green, with little else to them. The course has limited bunkers, water, undulation in fairways, and trees in play. The maintenance is average. On the other hand, there's plenty of great views and challenging shots. There's a delapitated 19th century barn with cows in the backdrop for additional scenery. Overall, they could have done more with a course cut into the mountains, but its a great time. Note: You're almost guaranteed to find a stray Mountain dog roaming the course.
