Toledo, Ohio - 419-726-9353 detwiler.americangolf.com One of the first courses designed by world renowned architect Arthur Hills, this championship course plays host to the annual Toledo Amateur Championship. Detwiler features contoured fairways amidst perfectly positioned bunkers and ponds and large, well-manicured greens. It is located only 10 minutes from downtown Toledo, with easy access from I-75, I-280 and the Ohio Turnpike. Detwiler is a par 71 course, comprised of four par-5's and five par-3's. A key to playing this course well is to know how to play in the wind, since the course is just a driver away from Lake Erie. The course starts and finishes with birdie possibilities on rather short par 5's, playing just over 500 yards from the tips. Both can be reached by long hitters if the wind is in their favor, making a great opportunity to begin and finish the round in a positive fashion. Course Details
