Minerva Lake Golf Course

Minerva Lake Golf Club is an18-hole par 69 public course that appeals to all levels of play, from novice to the experienced golfer. This historic course offers three sets of tees and a number of challenging holes with five par 3s and two par 5s. With 5,497 yards of straight and narrow tree lined fairways, placement shots are an integral component of the Minerva Lake game.

"The Minerv" is not exactly a golfers paradise, but they do have some coupons on their web site that keep the cost down. The greens need some work - they are awfully hard and fast and do not appear to get watered very often. A short course that features a "Front Ten" instead of a front nine (nice design) and I imagine some of the better iron players would score well here, if they could manage to keep a ball from bouncing off the rock hard greens that all seem to be built on top of a hill.
