PipeStone is regarded as one of the most beautiful and challenging layouts in the Miami Valley. This Arthur Hills' design offers rolling fairways, undulating greens, and beautiful views. Four sets of tees allow the high or low handicapper to play from the yardage that best suits their ability. It was rated 4 stars in Golf Digest's 2004 places to play and quoted as "Best public course in Dayton area".

Years ago the native indians of this area made pottery and peace pipes from the blue clay soil deep in the ground which they called pipestone. In keeping with this history, the City of Miamisburg named this facility PipeStone.

The course was designed by world-renowned architect, Arthur Hills, who took special care in preserving the natural beauty of the land. Nestled in the rolling hills, PipeStone is an 18-hole, par 72 facility owned by the City of Miamisburg and operated by Kemper Sports Management. We believe that PipeStone provides a challenge to all levels of players with its rolling terrain, undulating greens and spectacular vistas that add to the enjoyment of the game.

Beautiful and challenging course, very hilly and lots of water. I would love to go back and play again. Played on a Saturday morning and finished in 4 1/2 hours so the pace was good. Half the course is in the woods and half surrounding the housing community.
