The prevailing coastal breeze keeps Olivas Links cool during the summer and warm during the winter; making Olivas Links a perfect place to play during any season. Due to its newly formed features and native plant life, Olivas Links shelters more native fauna then before. Golf course architect, Forrest Richardson, had this to say about Olivas Links, “While there are trees, they are short and shaped by the wind. We have kept the holes open. Where they do pinch down, the land curves and drops with the flow; nothing is forced. It all follows the natural lay of the land – everything follows the natural swales and grooves that carry water toward the river.”

With four sets of tees, Olivas Links enables players of all abilities to play a course that matches their skills. Olivas Links offers players many different ways to play the golf course, encouraging a variety of different shots players may choose to play at any one time. The right club selection will be key to many shots from around the greens at Olivas Links, no longer can you only chip with your sand wedge.
