Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Club

Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Club is a par-69 Florida-style layout was established in 1940 as a public works project.

The course and is relatively flat and open. Since club selection is often dictated by prevailing winds, you can play F.D.R. often and never play the same course twice.

The fairways are wide providing generous landing areas and are complimented with large-sized greens that are well guarded by numerous bunkers. In addition to the natural wetlands, a canal runs through the course and comes into play on a total of ten holes. Franklin D. Roosevelt Golf Club features views of the Philadelphia skyline that will serve as a backdrop on many of your shots.

Course was in decent shape. Some soggy areas to walk around. Some fairways had "gouges and ruts" that should be taken care of. Very small greens, just aerated. Good course to practice. Easy to walk.
