15 Athelone Way
Avondale, PA 19311-1315, United States
"Restorationist" architect Gil Hanse designed this course with "throw-back" bunkering and high grasses, while making use of the natural elevation changes and abundant wetlands. The club recently added a set of blue "senior" tees, which are included in oobgolf's scorecard.

Yes, they have a range. Yes, the fees are reasonable. Unfortunately, the course is built around a water/sewage treatment facility and the SMELL IS TERRIBLE. Holes 1, 9, 10, and 18 are all directly next to the treatment facility and the smell, while most noticeable on theses holes, permeates the entire course. It is unfortunate because it is a bargain otherwise.

Very enjoyable course with beautiful scenery and layout. Local knowledge is necessary to play well here.

Was supposed to be hooked up with a twosome at 11:30, they never showed, played in 2hrs 37 min. Only caught up to another twosome on the 17th hole. Very challenging course, played from the gold, and it's difficult, course in very good shape considering the summer we have had. Will play again with some friends,

A mixed bag. A challenging course, some things are puzzling, like no sand in some of the bunkers. Some of the holes were a bit unfair, with no good (flat) landing area. I will play here again, but can't recommend it to a friend.

One of the best courses in the area. A great test of golf with a classic look. If you really want a test, play from the black tees. Some are tucked away into parts of the course few know about. Couple that with a 238 yard par 3 on the front and it's really a day to see a lot of the course. The staff is great!

Make sure you buy a yardage book. From the tips this one plays about 500 yards longer than the scorecard indicates. Better bring the long ball on some of the par fours just to reach the fairway. If its your first time you will either love it and want to play it over and over or you'll hate it and never return. Need course knowlege to score. A true test. Worth every penny.

Great course. Shot makers will love it. Fast and true greens with some flair. Needs some sand in bunkers but if you stay out of them who cares.

Top notch conditions from tee to green. 1 minor complaint is there was no sand in the bunkers. Golfers who are looking for a challenge will certainly enjoy this course. I recommend playing the green/middle tees unless you are a low handicapper. It plays difficult and long, particularly on the back nine.
