There are plates in the ground around the course telling stories of what professionals shot from a spot to win the Bob Hope Desert Classic. I got the honor to enjoy the day with one of the original members of the club. I got the tour showing me with John Dale’s house was and were all of the pros stay when they are in town. Plus I clued in on where to take the best pictures. I also was shown a hidden tee box that only the members know is on one of the holes. I think it is on number 17 of the isle green... Yes, I did hit into the famous #16 sand trap...I want spoil it for all of you have not been...just drag yourself out the Southern California and find out why.
