 MrBusinessGolf - 3/25/07Played the Stadium Course...what a walk through history that was. There are plates in the ground around the course telling stories of what professionals shot from a spot to win the Bob Hope Desert Classic. I got the honor to enjoy the day with one of the original members of the club. I got the tour showing me with John DaleGÇÖs house was and were all of the pros stay when they are in town. Plus I clued in on where to take the best pictures. I also was shown a hidden tee box that only the members know is on one of the holes. I think it is on number 17 of the isle green... Yes, I did hit into the famous #16 sand trap...I want spoil it for all of you have not been...just drag yourself out the Southern California and find out why. Make sure you bring plenty of cash for this green fee, but it is totally worth it |
