Springwood Golf Club

This course used to be one of my favorites. Plans for the course to be plowed under have been submitted and they have decided to let the course go. Don't waste your money. Too bad, used to be a nice track.

Very pretty course. Tee boxes were beat up. A bungh of blind shots. Especially from the tee box. Cost me about 3 penalty shots.
Snack shop wasnt open at 9:30 am on a Sunday. Golf shop manager gave us $25 gift certs to Heritage Hills. Nice guy.

A unique golf course for sure. Beautiful scenery over a hilly terrain. This course offers several high risk & reward opportunities. Don't like the 18th with the severe uphill strokes to the green. Great course when well maintained and every bit it's original rating when first opened. Plans to put a development on the course have been stalled for the foreseeable future. The 4 new holes mentioned were to be added to the Heritage Hills Club as plans for housing development on that course would lose a few holes. Springwood would be gone and Heritage Course would be reconfigured. Court battle continues over use of the land. Play while you can.

This course was taking under new mangment. and the course is getting in to better shape. if i reamber correctly they are adding 4 new holes and getting rid 6-9
