Torresdale-Frankford Country Club hosted two national championships in the early 1940’s. All of the famous professional golfers of that time participated. Sam Snead holds the course record of 64 which he posted in the Philadelphia Open held at TFCC in September of 1941.

Today, from the championship tees, the course is 6381 yards with a course rating of 71.7 and a slope of 137. From the middle tees the course is 6148 yards with a rating of 69.9 and a slope of 135. From the Ladies tees the course is 5578 yards with a rating of 73.4 and a slope of 138.
