This hilly course has small greens that are fast and sloped. Some of the greens are elevated, and over half the holes are well-bunkered.
Turbot Hills Golf Club is a family owned and operated 18 hole golf course and banquet center located amid the rolling hills and valleys of the beautiful Susquehanna Valley. Designed in 1927 as a private 9 hole course, Turbot Hills Golf Club has evolved into a 6,318 yard, par 71 golf facility open to both members and the general public. Along the way it has become one of the most challenging and popular courses in North central Pennsylvania. The course itself has been cut from land rich in history due to it's proximity to the Susquehanna River. In pioneer times this waterway was considered a "super highway" for Native Americans and settlers alike and the surrounding land is both a archeological and historical treasure trove. Each hole at Turbot Hills is unique and provides it's own particular challenge including: "Billy Goat Hill", "Eagle's Nest", and "Pin Ball Alley".
