Caledonia Golf & Fish Club

Built upon the site of a working southern rice plantation, Caledonia has been recognized for its design and incredible beauty. Furthermore, Golfweek continues to name Caledonia as one of "America's 100 Best Modern Courses." From the entrance lined with centuries old live oaks to its antebellum-styled clubhouse, Caledonia is a world-class experience.

Hands down the best golf course in the Myrtle Beach area. Playing this course is like taking a trip back in rime. The course has such a historic feel to it. This is unlike any property I've ever played golf on. I found myself looking around and taking it all in on each and every tee. The only thing more impressive than the course setting is the course layout. This course was beautifully sculpted through century old oaks and a handful of water hazards with gentle rolling fairways. Not a particularly long course, but plenty of hazards and waste areas to manuver around. The course wasn't exactly in top shape and the staff wasn't overly attentive, but it didn't even matter. This is amust play course at the beach!!!!

Played 8/21/08 - course was in great condition and as always was a beautiful place to play. This has to be one of the top courses if not the top one in MB. Staff was friendly and helpful.
