Bear Trace At Tims Ford State Park

I really like this course; it has beautiful scenery along Tims Ford Lake. There is also a healthy deer population that are very acclimated to the golfers and will let you get within 15 feet or so to them before they even acknowledge your existence. For some reason that adds a very pleasant feel to playing the course. I also love the fact that there are some really nice elevation changes on some of the holes that add some spice to the play. Finally, a warning: stay out of the reeds, you will lose your ball and take a penalty shot, and if you have a slice to the right, you'll be losing a lot of balls.
