Three courses are part of this club and resort.
The Heathland Course was designed by retro-traditionalist architect Tom Doak, so it has many echoes of English and Scottish courses, including sculpted mounding and difficult bunkers.
The Moorland Course is a P.B. Dye design from 1990 that some have compared to the PGA West Stadium Course. Large areas of natural growth, sand, water, and waste areas help make this a "target" course.
The Parkland Course is a Tom Doak design from 1992, offering tree-lined fairways, deep-faced bunkers and massive, multi-level greens.
Rates and special packages are posted on the resort's web site.

Ultimate value for lodging, a few rounds of golf, and drinking with the group.

Played our second tournament with the Legends Last weekend. Great price booking directly with them and the hospitality was great. Loved all the courses we played. Moorland played tough with elevated greens and tough play. Heathland is a beautiful Course. Parkland was my favorite. Also played the Heritage Club. Form hole 9 to 18 one of the prettiest courses.

The Legends Group offers an excellent value for their fall golf packages. Our foursome played Heathland, Moorland, Heritage, and Oyster Bay this past week. The courses offered a real test for both the scratch golfer to the 15 handicapper. My scenic favorite is Oyster Bay, which I had played more than 25 years ago. Where else can you see black squirrels, blue heron, alligators, and bald eagles all in the same round.

We just had our 14th annual trip to Myrtle this year and booked all 5 Legends Courses. We were rained out on the Heritage course, but the rest were great. The courses were crowded, but we moved at an okay pace 4.5-5 hours. the greens were smooth and true and the fairways were in great shape. The package we booked included breakfast and lunch and it was a big benefit. Everyone would play there again next year.

Played Moreland course. A couple holes were gimmicky but mostly fun and fair. A good changeup from boring golf.

The Legends Heathland, Mooreland and Parkland are amongst the best course owned by the Legends group. Oyster Bay and Heritage club are not as great, but Oyster Bay is better than Heritage club for its scenery.
All courses are ~ $135 per round. The Heathland course was good, very well maintained and probably worth the price. Heritage quality wise was more like a $75 course (however others have rated it high so may be due to current conditions), and Oyster Bay was fine for the money.
