This is a great course with a challenging layout. I dont usually spend much to play golf so this is one of the nicer courses I have played on. Greens were fast and fairways were in beautiful shape. If your in the greenville area i would highly recommend this course. They also have a great practice area with separate bunker and putting green.

A challenging but fair course. Expected to find a "snobby" staff in the pro shop given the review by Josh Turner, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful both on the phone and when checking in. I received a complimentary yardage book for myself and guest. Outside staff were equally as friendly. Enjoyed a great round and will be back again.

Verdae is a challenging course with tight fairways and trouble everywhere. The greens (bermuda) can be somewhat "grainy" at times especially during the winter months but in the hotter months are very true, a little on the slow side. The fairways and rough (bermuda) are some of the finest in the upstate with a great maintenance program. The spring flowers are also a treat, unless your ball finds them. If you're hitting your driver well this course should be a great trip. The only real complaint I have is the Pro Staff in the clubhouse. The attitude is very "snobby" and standoff-ish. Our Golf League at work has had issues with the staff in the past. The course staff (starters, Green's Keepers, etc.) couldn't be any nicer. The practice facilites are great and the restaurant has good food and cold beer. If you can look past a few "bad apples" then Verdae Greens Golf Club will be a great place to play.
