Each of the three layouts play basically the same with somewhat rolling, narrow, tree-lined fairways, ponds, lakes, limited bunkering and average-sized greens with some undulations. To prove that you'll get nothing but a classic round of golf, Waterway Hills Golf Club has tactically positioned bunkers along their rolling terrain and strategic landing areas specific to Trent Jones style.

Set amongst acres of woodlands and sparkling lakes, Waterway Hills stands out in Myrtle Beach. In fact, you'll have to hop aboard the gondola and be whisked across the Inter-coastal before you even set foot on the course! If you are afraid of heights you may want to avoid Waterway Hills, since the Gondola is the "ski lift" type not the type you would frequent in Venice.

this course having 3 nines provided a great pace of play. the course overall was in great shape and we played for a great price during peak season. Definitely worth a look.
