3520 James Madison Hwy
Haymarket, VA 20169-1932, United States
Formerly known as Bull Run Country Club, this course stretches over 450 acres that are also home to plenty of flora, fauna, and fish. Several publications have included Bull Run in their list of top public courses in the Washington DC area. The course's architect, Rick Jacobson, previously worked for Jack Nicklaus' design firm.
The club's name comes from two Civil War battles; in fact, much of the town of Haymarket was burned by Union troops in 1862.
Public rates are posted below and include a power cart; fees are lower for club members, juniors, seniors, military, and law enforcement officers.

A great track in northern VA, with challenging yet playable holes. A few great risk reward holes in 8 and 18 will bring out the best in your game. .. or will bring you to your knees!
Having played 30 courses in the area over the past 15 years, Bull Run is absolutely one of my favorite courses.

Conditions were average - tee boxes were in poor shape and some greens were just as dimpled as a golf ball - very slow greens. Since the last time I played there in 2004 - conditions of the course has deteriorated...

Some Greens have ground wasp holes unfortunately. Overall in good condition.

Wonderfully layed out course. Greens had just been punched, so it was a little frustrating. Pace was pretty brutal for an early Friday afternoon. Great views.
