This attractive parkland-style course opened in 1996 with a design by architect Clyde Johnston. It is owned by the Prince William County Park Authority, so it is very much open to the public.

Great course great value. Played the course twice in 6 hours.
Fairways are narrow and the rough is tough but a great county course

Pleasantly surprised. I guess I didn't have high expectations knowing it is a muni but one of the better layouts I've played in a while. Conditions were fine for mid-Feb. Staff was nice, but limited with it being Feb - could have used a marshall to move some groups along.

I been playing this course for years. It seems like it has gotten better the couple of years. But don't want to play this course during peak times its just too slow. I think its too pricey in the summer time, based on the location and proximity to Quantico. But overall its decent.
Gone Fishing - 9/1/11
Overall, course improve quite a bit this year. tee boxes, fairways, greens are good. Bunkers need sand. Rough is ok, nothing to complain about since no one should be in the rough :).

Nice public course, but like most around here, play is slow on weekend. In great shape. Rough is a bear. Wooded and scenic, but not so narrow, that you can't find one in the woods. Rough will swallow though.
Carts are nice; club cleaners, lots of compartments, good torque and speed. Electric.
Nice design but golf is just too pricey around here...$70 on weekend.

Green fees too high for a muni course that has lousy fairways and the slowest greens on earth.

4 1/2 - 5 hours for the round. Lots of rocks in the mud they call bunkers.
