Forest Greens Golf Club

Back-to-nature, out-in-the-woods, in-touch-with-the-wild. We’re talking about the 18 holes at Forest Greens Golf Club in Dumfries, run by the Prince William County Park Authority, a course that has truly come into its own since it opened in 1996.

It’s no wonder we’ve earned four stars from Golf Digest and have been rated as a must-play by Golfstyle magazine. We know it’s going to be a must-play for you, too.

Green fees too high for a muni course that has lousy fairways and the slowest greens on earth.

4 1/2 - 5 hours for the round. Lots of rocks in the mud they call bunkers.
