Great Falls, Virginia - 703-759-2640 The 18 hole championship golf course was completed in 1961 and has matured into one of the finest in the area. The par 71 course, measuring 6,631 yards from the championship tees, is both challenging and enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. Greens, tees and fairways are bent grass with a modern watering system. An expert greens staff keeps the course in excellent condition. The Club's activities include a full schedule of tournaments and special events. There are programs for retired men, women, and juniors. In addition, River Bend participates in various men's, women's and junior inter-club programs. Golf facilities include a state of the art additional practice facility, which includes indoor hitting station, bunker, and short game practice areas. Putting greens are located adjacent to the main clubhouse. Greens and fairway were good... it was hot and dry that week but was still good golf. The round was very slow due to a group 2 in front of us.
