Originally slated to open in 1994, local politics held the course dormant for nearly a decade. Finally, in April, 2003, Royal Kunia Golf Course was unveiled to the public. The course boasts many beautiful views of Pearl Harbor and the city of Honolulu from it's mountaintop location. The picturesque, rolling fairways are lined with palms and other native flora.
