Lederach Golf Club is Eastern Pennsylvania's newest creation by Reading-based course architect Kelly Blake Moran. The highly-anticipated layout north of Philadelphia just off exit 31 on the Northeast Extension is amid gorgeous rolling farmland and has a decidedly links feel. Lederach’s difficulty won’t be found in forced carries or other modern design gimmicks. Rather, the course will utilize the property’s ample undulations, scenic ridges and sweeping valleys. False fronts, collection areas, grass bunkers and swales are just some of the natural hazards Moran has incorporated into his “land-based” design for Lederach.

The course itself isn't too bad but most of the greens are a joke. They also need a tee box between the Blue (6624) and the middle (6062.)Not worth the money during the summer months.

Great course. A real test of golf and the toughest hole in Mont. Co. (#12). Could you ask for anything more.

Nice challenging, links-style course. Bunkers had more rocks than I like to see, but overall good maintenance. The drink girl had quite an attitude, but everyone in the clubhouse was friendly. I'd play again with a discount.

Pace of play was ridiculous on the front 9 we saw rangers on the back 9 none. The girl with the drink cart said a couple holes ahead of us there was a big gap and she would call the pro shop and get someone out to straighten out the problem. It was apparent a group was holding us up and the rangers did nothing, spent half the round sitting around very hard to get in the flow of the game. Course had a very nice layout and the greens were crazy with all the breaks very tough but loved the challenge. Maintenence was not the best Fairways had bare spots also the traps were loaded with rocks and very little sand I don't know about you but I paid alot of money for my clubs and I don't like playing out of the rocks. Starter and the drink cart girl were very hospitable. I won't go back unless someone tells me things have changed.

Overall, I liked the course, it was challenging, especially around the greens. Fairways were in good shape, save for a spot on 1 fairway where they cut the sod out, leaving a patch of dirt.
Pace of play was slow at 5 1/4 hours, which was partially due to a frost delay. Although most was due to a 2-some and 3-some in front of us. We noticed the 2-some would not tee off until the group in front was on the green and half the time one guy was duffing tee shots and hitting a second shot off tee. REALLY INCONSIDERATE, ASS FACE!
Guy in clubhouse was ok and the starter really did a great job explaining the course to us. Hats off there.
Finally, if you want scenery, all you will find is houses surrounding the place. Don't worry, they are out of play but all you see is houses.
I would play the course again but not at their rates, we used the tee time pass book and saved quite a bit.

very good, long course.

Great shape, always found the staff to be very friendly. Course would have been 'the' place to play in the area if the designer hadn't overdone it.

Interesting and fun links course. While there are frequently obstacles to be navigated in or around the fairway, most holes were actually quite forgiving off the tee. The course's teeth come primarily from hidden traps, sloping greens, and long distances, though rarely simultaneously. These provide a challenge, but with the level of maintenance, it is a fair challenge, with greens breaking true, traps in decent shape, and fairways alotting for considerable roll. If you've played and enjoyed Morgan Hill, Lederach will feel like a breeze.

I was skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews but this course is fantastic. Course is NOT gimicky and not that difficult. Undulating greens are part of the challenge...just like the pros have.
Links courses have deep/pot bunkers so I don't know why people complain.
A couple of false front greens are also fun.
Great course. Can't wait to go back.

The layout is inconsistent and gimmicky. However, it is in excellent shape and there are definitely some fun holes.
