Challenging course with lots of elevation changes. Greens were in good condition but fairways had numerous old divots that needed to be repaired. Will play this course again.

It is not an easy course, but it does offer you large landing areas in the fairways. Hole 10 and 11 are by far the hardest holes on the course. People were very nice at the clubhouse. The only problem with the course is the view of the extremely close nuclear power plant.
kevinmcfl - 8/25/12
Great layout but the houses and the nuclear power plant ruin the scenery. Maybe a bit overrated. Also hard to get to without hitting traffic.

All and all a very nice course with some challenging holes. But, also some serious drawbacks to the course.
Challeging holes with some inteersting hills; not super crowded on weekends; reasonably priced; bunkers well maintained as weer tee boxes; nice putting green and driving range; cart girls seen often.
Greens were heavily sand and speed varied tremendously; staff a little lost; locations of tee boxes were bizarre in relation to cart path (you had to often walk a long way and uphill to get to a tee box, slowing down play); view of nucleur reactors was omnious; no rangers to speed up slow players; HOUSES all over the course and too close to the fairways.

nice course, nice people,in good shape but not great shape. tough layout
beninreppin213 - 9/8/11
One of the nicest courses in the immediate area. There are houses on the course but they don't sit close enough to cause any worries for the average golfer. The fairways are usually in top notch shape. The greens are challenging but are normally well taken care of.
pat22 - 8/3/11
Very challenging course club choice out of the tee box very important. Course wasn't in the best of conditions, example hole 17 a 200 yard plus par 3 tee box was in terrible shape. Other than that very enjoyable course will play again either early in the year or late in the year.
esmgolf - 6/30/11
Challenging course in great shape. Definitely one of the best public courses in the philadelphia area.
Runkle - 6/10/11
This is one of my favorite courses in the area, with many memorable holes that are pleasing to the eye. Many tee shots give you options and make you think about club choice and position. The course rewards good shots and has nice sized fairways, but is punishing if you're spraying balls. There is typically 10-20 yards of primary rough until you hit knee-high grass or waste brush in which your ball is lost. Pricing is on the high side on the weekends, but there are email and web specials which provide great value during the week. The club house is well maintained with quality food/drinks at decent prices. The wait staff is average at best.

Used an internet special so the price was right. Course is great but rough is way up and wet. Tough to find a ball let alone advance it.
