This 18-hole parkland-style course has a bit of sculpted mounding and greens that are somewhat reminiscent of Scottish courses. A stream, nine ponds, and 58 bunkers are in play on this par-71 layout, which was designed by Ohio-based architect Barry Serafin.
The 18-hole walking rates are $20 weekdays and $30 weekends, while the riding rates are $32 and $42, respectively.
The course came under new ownership early in 2012.

Nestled in rural Ohio, but not far from Dayton, this course has always been one of my favorites. It's a tough course, but fun. Course was in good shape when we played it.

Greens are in bad shape. Course has really gone downhill this year. Seems to be little groudskeeping and course maintenance. Bunkers are horrible.

course is really slipping, traps are unplayable

This is a true hidden gem. Very affordable and in very good condition. The front nine meanders through the valley and along a creek that comes into play on at least 4 holes. The back nine takes you up the side of the adjacent hill and provides you with spectacular views of the surrounding valley. Some fairways are very wide while others are not, so club selection off the tee is important. Second shot club selection is also very important as many of the greens are large and have multiple levels on them. This is a must play if you live in the Cincinnati-Dayton area. Definitly worth the drive into the country because there are no houses around this course which helps to provide you with a very peaceful and secluded golfing experience.
