This course is a not-too-difficult public course but will offer you some challenges. A couple of fairly long par 5’s may tempt you to go for it in two but watch out on two of them for hidden water hazards near the green which will collect your second shot. (Hint #18 is one of them) Some of the par 4’s are shorter to give you some birdie chances but on a few others, a par is a good score. All in all, this course plays pretty long and with a few tight holes you can add up a higher score here than you’d think. The price is right and if you want a nice play out in the country, give Oakmont Green a try!

Nice "neighborhood" type course: not a place to impress clients! Layout is fairly straightforward, with few surprises. Mostly flat, except 10-11-12. Not too much sand. Medium sized greens, not heavily contoured, and they are usually moderate speed. Great course for the big bombers, with very few really tight holes. Gets lots of outings, as they put on a pretty good post-round meal. Pro shop is smallish, some merchandise, and some equipment. Staff is generally OK, no Rangers or Starter during the week. Keep your expectations modest and you will not be disapointed.
