This course is surrounded by oak and pine trees and has small greens. The fairways are flat and wide open, and four lakes come into play on four holes. Nine holes opened in 1997, making this a regulation eighteen hole course. The most difficult hole on the course, and quite possibly in all of Laurens County, is #16, a 417-yard, par 4, featuring two sand bunkers in front of the green and another flanking the rear
