The East course is the original 1917 Donald Ross layout and today is mixed with holes 7-15, designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. in 1952. It hosted the U.S. Women's Open for the second time in 2011 (So Yeon Ryu). Jones also added nine holes in 1963 to what is now the West course, which is higher in elevation than the East course. Chris Cochran of Nicklaus Design Services redesigned the Mountain course, which opened in July of 2006 over a former Arnold Palmer-designed layout and made Golf Magazine's "Top 10 New Courses You Can Play" in 2007.
